We are a growing firm and are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Senior Manager and Staff Accountant.

SENIOR MANAGER:

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform detail file reviews of audit, review and compilation engagements under various reporting frameworks including note disclosures prepared by other staff members across different industries and sectors
  • Review corporate tax returns
  • Provide training and guidance to staff members
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management and staff

Qualifications and required skills:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant designation
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in an accounting firm
  • Extensive knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards
  • High degree of professionalism with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and computer)
  • Strong client service skills and exceptional relationship management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Work effectively in a team environment and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude

STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of review engagements with complete note disclosure and preparation of compilation engagements
  • Perform audit engagements as a team member or audit senior across different industries and sectors
  • Preparation of corporate income tax returns and personal income tax returns
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management and staff

  • High degree of professionalism with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and computer)
  • Strong client service skills and exceptional relationship management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
  • You are committed to pursuing the CPA designation
  • You have completed or are about to complete your post-secondary degree
